The Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our platform engineering team in Amsterdam. You will design, build and scale the distributed systems and APIs that power our AI cloud — owning features end to end, from architecture and implementation through to deployment and operation in production.

What You'll Do

• Design and build scalable, reliable backend services and APIs for our AI cloud platform.
  
  
• Own features end to end — architecture, implementation, testing, deployment and on-call ownership.
  
  
• Improve the performance, scalability and observability of large-scale distributed systems.
  
  
• Collaborate with product, infrastructure and ML teams to turn requirements into robust technical solutions.
  
  
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and uphold a high engineering bar through code review.
  
  
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical direction, standards and best practices.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production backend systems.
  
  
• Strong proficiency in one or more of Go, Rust, Python, Java or C++.
  
  
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, networking and data storage.
  
  
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
  
  
• A pragmatic approach to testing, CI/CD and operating services in production.
  
  
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, ownership-driven mindset.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with GPU/HPC, ML infrastructure or high-performance computing.
  
  
• Contributions to open-source projects or experience operating systems at large scale.
